Rotherham Council will be carrying out improvement works to traffic signals and street lighting at Bramley crossroads from this week.

From Monday 19 November work has begun to improve street lighting at the A631 Bawtry Road, junction with Cross Street and Flash Lane.
From Monday 26 November refurbishment works will begin on the traffic signals at the junction to improve their efficiency, along with some minor alterations to kerb lines.
Ian Ashmore, Rotherham Council’s Head of Transportation Infrastructure, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused during these important improvement works.
“Because of the high traffic levels on this route, the majority of works will be undertaken during off peak times, with some night time working.”
During the works there will be occasional closures to traffic turning right at the junction, with local diversions in place.
Further work to improve traffic signals at the junction of A631 Bawtry Road and Moorhead Way (Morrison’s supermarket) will also be taking place in the near future.
These works will be taking place until spring 2019.
