What's on for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022

To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 70 years of service, there are lots of Platinum Jubilee themed events taking place across Rotherham during May and June 2022.

We’re excited for A Right Royal Celebration to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – everyone’s invited, so let’s get together! Join us in Rotherham town centre from Thursday 2 until Saturday 4 June for an Outdoor Photographic Exhibition, celebrating Royal visits and occasions in Rotherham, plus great entertainment throughout each day. Then, on Sunday 5 June, pack up your picnic and head to Clifton Park for brilliant live entertainment and loads of fun to enjoy with family and friends from 11am until 4pm, as part of The Big Jubilee Lunch. Onsite food outlets will be open and serving tasty treats throughout the day too!

Rotherham Markets will be joining in the festivities on Saturday 28 May, 10am to 4pm, with The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in the Rotherham Centenary Outdoor Market in the Market Square. Come along and enjoy a free street party, with a singer performing sing-along songs from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, charity stalls and old-school games such as hopscotch. The event includes free refreshments and food.

Rotherham Libraries are holding lots of Platinum Jubilee themed activities for you to join in.
