Improving community safety is a key priority for Councillors in the Thurcroft and Wickersley South Ward. A Crime Prevention Day took place on Wednesday 13th October at the Bob Mason Recreation Ground.

Ward Councillors, the Police and the Council's Housing and Neighbourhoods Team's helped to deliver this event.

It was fantastic to see lots of local residents in attendance. Residents received free crime prevention packs.

On the day, Ward Councillors listened to crime and safety concerns from residents.

Ward Councillors are already working on future events to ensure everyone can share their views.
