Rising costs for food, energy, and housing have made life harder for many people. This plan explains how we support residents to manage money, access benefits, and build a better future.
What we do
- Free support for residents – We help over 6,000 people every year.
- Last year, residents claimed £5 million in benefits they were entitled to.
- Energy support – 11,000 people helped since the Energy Crisis Support Scheme began.
- Training and jobs – 789 people completed training and 887 found good jobs.
Our goals
- Better places to live – Safe, clean neighbourhoods and improved housing.
- A fair economy – Secure jobs and support for new businesses.
- Support for children and young people – Reduce poverty and give every child a chance to succeed.
- Help with cost of living – Ongoing support for those who need it most.
- Listening to residents – Services shaped by your feedback.
How we work
