Current and previous transparency reports
The council publishes annual local highways maintenance transparency reports to show how highway funding is being used and how the borough's roads, pavements and highway assets are maintained.
The reports provide information about:
- the condition of Rotherham's roads
- pothole inspections and repairs
- highway maintenance funding and spending
- planned maintenance and improvement programmes
- asset management and long-term investment planning
- drainage, structures and street lighting maintenance
- environmental sustainability and resilience
- performance monitoring and service delivery
The reports are published in line with requirements set by the Department for Transport and help provide transparency about how highway maintenance decisions are made and how funding is used.
