Please use this form to apply form for both applying for a new Zoo licence and renewing an existing Zoo licence. This is a chargeable service and payment is required before you can submit your application.

For security purposes, you may be required to verify your payment by logging in to your banking app or receiving an authorisation code via email and/or SMS. Please have something to hand which will allow you to verify it is you making the payment. Any delay in verifying will cause the form to timeout and may mean your payment is not successful.
Please be aware before applying for a new Zoo licence:
- You are unable to apply to Rotherham Council until at least 2 months have passed from your submission of your notice of intent.
- You will need the date that your notice of intent was published.
- You will need the name of one local and one national newspaper that your notice of intent appeared in.
- You will need the Zoo operators name
- You will need the Zoo's proposed name
- You will need details of any proposed changes from the notice of intent.
If you are applying to renew your existing licence, you will only be able to do this if your existing licence is due to expire within the next 8 months.
