Questions to ask Bailey

To get the best out of Bailey, start questions with, “How do I…”, “I want to…” or “Can I…”. Use four words or more but don’t make them too long. Try not to personalise the question. If you don't get the answer you're looking for, try re-phrasing the question. For example:

  • "How do I apply for Free School Meals?"
  • "How do I report a pothole?"
  • "Where are the cycle routes in rotherham?"
  • "How do i bid for a council flat?"
  • "What are the rules for applying for a council house?"

What not to ask Bailey

Bailey continually learns and improves how to answer your questions. The range of subjects and knowledge will also increase over time. However Bailey struggles to answer your questions that are:

  • Questions that are open-ended or ambiguous. For example, the question "What is the meaning of life?"
  • Questions that are personal. For example, the question "How are you?"
  • Questions that are based on humor or sarcasm. For example, the question "Why did the chicken cross the road?"
