What’s on this September

What's on this September

It’s nearly September and there are lots of fun events taking place across Rotherham. This month, we’re really looking forward to welcoming you back to Rotherham's biggest cultural festival Rotherham Show on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September at Clifton Park, for music, dance, food, art, performance and more.

It wouldn’t be Rotherham Show without all the favourites too, including the Vintage Vehicle Rally, Strongmen Competitions, Let’s Circus and of course the beloved Made in Rotherham Horticultural Show which will once again offer many ways for the people of Rotherham to show off their creativity, green fingers, baking prowess and general fabulousness, all under one (canvas) roof!

And we’ve lots of new performers for you to enjoy this time around. You can stay in-the-know by following the Rotherham Show Facebook page.

New performers confirmed, include Compact Disco (Saturday only) with a personalised playlist, exuberant performers and all the hype of a wedding DJ, Compact Disco brings light-hearted fun with an oversized dynamic disco ball to really get the Rotherham Show party started! Also, Timeless will perform on Saturday and Sunday, Joli Vyann present an innovative fusion of circus, dance and theatre - blurring the boundaries of dance and circus skills.

A first for Rotherham Show, the Chuckle Tent will offer laughs aplenty on both Saturday and Sunday. With a mix of stand-up and family shows from well-known comedians including Jo Enright most recently seen in the ITV Sitcom The Job Lot, as well as Isabelle Adam, Anthony J.Brown (pictured), Martha McBrier, Steve Royle and Sean Rollason.
