Neighbourhood Partnerships

Your local area and ward

Working with you to help build communities that we can all take pride in has always been a priority for the Council. We value the contributions that people make within their local area, through volunteering and getting involved in decision making, to really make a difference for everyone who lives there. By building on the work we’ve already done together we can continue to find new ways to meet the challenges facing Rotherham.

Ward Plans

Your locally elected councillors work with your community to find out what needs to happen in the area where you live. This information is then used to produce a Ward Plan for each of the Boroughs 21 wards. Each Ward Plan sets out the priorities for each area and the actions to be carried out to improve the area. You can view your local Ward Plan below and see how things are progressing.

Each Ward has a small budget called the Devolved Budget. Community groups can apply for funding for projects that they would like to deliver, to help to achieve some of the priorities for the area. You can read more about applying for funding in our Devolved Budget guidance notes below.
