Video praises DfT-funded traffic signal schemes
A five-minute video premiered at the Transport Technology Forum Autumn Update in Birmingham, showcasing how a Department for Transport’s Traffic Signals Obsolescence Grant improved a key Rotherham corridor.
The Council received nearly £600,000 to fund a range of projects on the A631, including upgrading traffic signal systems and replacing equipment to improve reliability, increase functionality and reduce energy consumption. The video shows how the improvements not only led to better traffic flow, but a better experience for pedestrians, cyclists and bus passengers.
