Veterans and The Law

Project Nova/Op Nova

This non-clinical service builds on existing provisions to improve the identification and support of veterans pre and post-prison custody. Working together with the NHS service and Justice services. As well as charities and other organisations.

Operation Nova provides a single point of contact for veterans who following an assessment will have a comprehensive support plan developed and overseen by a care and support coordinator. Operation Nova which is being delivered by Forces Employment Charity in collaboration with Care After Combat, builds on the success of Project Nova which supported veterans before prison in five regions of England.
