Payments direct to landlords

If your tenant is receiving housing benefit payments and they are eight weeks or more in arrears with their rent, you can request benefit payments are made directly to yourself. This will only happen if we believe it is in the tenants best interest. You will then be liable for any overpayments received.

Request direct payments

You must tell us about any changes, for example, if your tenant moves out or their benefits entitlement changes.
