Prompt payment of suppliers
The Council has signed up to the government's Prompt Payment Code.
This means that we are committed to paying suppliers within clearly defined terms, and also to making sure there is a proper process for dealing with any issues.
This helps to strengthen our relationship with suppliers, especially small and local businesses.
