A Signature Ceremony consists of two distinct parts:
Legal Ceremony: The first part is the statutory ceremony held at the Register Office with two witnesses. This ensures that your marriage or civil partnership is legally recognised.
Celebratory Ceremony: The second part is the main celebratory ceremony, which can take place at a venue of your choice. This means you have much more flexibility in selecting a location that holds special significance for you. Unlike traditional ceremonies, it doesn't have to be a licensed venue approved for civil marriages or civil partnerships. Whether it's a picturesque garden, a historic building, or even a teepee or yurt, the choice is yours.
