About us
The youth club is free of charge and each evening young people can chat with youth workers, socialise with their friends and take part in sports, art, and healthy cooking activities which provides everyone with a free meal.
The young people benefit from activities that increase their social engagement, with access to a local environment where they can build friendships and feel connected to other people.
We understand that a young person’s well-being is centred around their mental health, which includes being physically active, and has a healthy and balanced diet. Therefore, we aim to incorporate these values in all our physical activities to ensure the young people get the best possible experience.
Our activities include:
- cooking nutritional meals with young people and young volunteers will promote healthy eating habits and develop cooking skills
- debates and conversations about topics important to young people’s development can encourage critical thinking and help them express their opinions effectively
- role-playing and group activities enhance teamwork skills, the craft activities or games will provide a creative outlet
- active sessions, with team building activities and sports to encourage young people to work together and develop their physical and social skills
