About us
CLP aims to support the community of Eastwood as a whole, but our reach is beyond this in terms of support to Roma people, EU citizens, and asylum seekers and refugees across the borough. Our aims are to make the community stronger and more resilient addressing issues of vulnerability and poverty.
From our dedicated youth building and fabulous outdoor place space we run open access youth activities 4 times per week:
- Session 1: 8 to 10 years
- Session 2: 10 to 13 years
- Session 3: Sports session or outreach session
- Session 4: 14+ and run in conjunction with RUCT
Youngsters have the option of remaining indoors, using the safe outside space and the sheltered outdoor classroom. The outdoor space has play and gym equipment. We invite external providers to deliver at sessions to enrich and vary activities on offer. This is likely to include:
- art work with Children’s Capital of Culture and Flux
- music with a DJ
- boxing with a provider
