Based in the town centre, the Journey is a hub for young people who have left or who will be leaving care and offers a range of advice and guidance as you take your next steps into independence.
Whether you have questions about getting your own home, need financial advice or want someone to talk to about your next steps, you can find all the support they need at the Journey.
One care leaver who goes to The Journey regularly said:
“I really like coming here. The team are really nice and make me laugh. When I have a question, they’re always there to help.”
The Journey is open throughout the week. It also hosts regular events for care leavers including events in Care Leavers Week in October and celebration events at Christmas.
