Rotherham BMX promotes the fun and engaging exercise of BMX racing and is suitable for all ages.
Our goal is to promote healthy activity to young people aged 10 to 18 and encourage a positive health lifestyle and making healthy choices in life. We champion inclusivity and cohesion, ensuring all genders and abilities can participate, and bring together young people from all backgrounds and communities to create an inclusive environment for all.
Our club aims to provide positive activities to reduce anti-social behaviour, and provide a positive and safe pathway of engaging activities.
We provide coaching and gates sessions for 10 to 18-year-olds, our aims for our participants are:
- Personal development: Develop personal, social, and emotional skills through BMX activities.
- Active involvement: Encourage active participation in planning, delivery, and evaluation of sessions.
- Engaging activities: Provide enriching and potentially accredited BMX experiences.
- Safety and inclusion: Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Learning and growth: Support young people in identifying their own learning opportunities and developing their skills.
- Recognition and achievement: Offer recognition and accreditation for participant achievements and progression.
