About us
We aim to create opportunities for local people of all ages who feel socially isolated and marginalised and encourage them to increase their self-worth and build their confidence by offering peer-to-peer support.
We use art and creativity to engage women and girls from different communities and build positive relationships and promote community cohesion, integration, and cultural diversity through the arts.
Our 2-hour youth sessions in Masbrough will support the physical and mental well-being of young women through creativity and promoting learning and personal development.
We have a voice and influence youth group: “Big Sisterz”.
Our sessions include:
- arts and crafts
- knitting
- baking
- cooking
- hair and beauty
- badminton
- keeping safe on the street and internet safety
- guest authors to engage young people in creative writing
- mental well-being workshops including holistic and relaxation classes
- personal care
- baking
- cookery
