Rotherham Families Information Service (FIS)

  • Childminders
  • Day nurseries
  • Pre-schools
  • Out of school and holiday clubs

They can also provide information on free early education places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and the 30 Hours Free Childcare offer for working parents.

FIS also has a comprehensive directory of childcare providers including breakfast and after school clubs.

They also have a Family Activities Directory about what is on for children and young people locally, including sports clubs, youth clubs and holiday clubs.

If you’re concerned about attending a session for the first time or want to see if the activities will be suitable for you, a number of providers have produced videos of their settings.  These give you an idea of the activities that your child will experience in a day care setting.
