Current adult social care consultations
Rotherham Council is seeking to update its adult social care priorities for the borough across several key areas.
We welcome everyone to get involved in our range of consultations and surveys, whether you access the services available, care for someone who accesses support, or are someone who doesn’t access support but could benefit from doing so.
Please complete as many consultations or surveys that apply to you or your circumstances.
Learning Disability Services Survey
Rotherham Adult Social Care is writing a strategy to make sure that people with learning disabilities across Rotherham have good lives. To do this we want to find out what is important to people across Rotherham. You have until Tuesday 10 October 2023 to have your say.
Autism Strategy Consultation
We would like to hear your thoughts on Rotherham’s All Age Autism Strategy. We are looking to hear from Autistic adults and young people (no diagnosis required) and their families/carers.
It is important to feed in your experiences to help shape future autism services within Rotherham.
Rothercare provides a community alarm service to residents of Rotherham who are 18 years and older to help people live independently within their own homes. We want to do more to enable people to live their best lives, within local communities and feel that reviewing our support provided by Rothercare will help us to achieve this further.
We would welcome your thoughts on the service and how it should change and grow in the future.
Adult Social Care Mental Health Community Support Service
The Council is reviewing its mental health model to enhance the early intervention and prevention offer, helping people to find early solutions and to ensure clear pathways are in place, supporting the people of Rotherham to receive the right support, from the right place at the right time.
