Housing allocation policy review

Housing Allocation Policy review

The Council is in the process of updating its Housing Allocations Policy. The Council will use all the responses to inform the next steps of this process.

Housing Services have recently reviewed and drafted an updated version of the Housing Allocation Policy in response to changes in local delivery and demand and complies with legislation and good practice.

The new policy is designed to improve the way that the Council allocates its properties to those in the greatest need. It provides a clear system, setting out a framework of eligibility, qualification, priority to social housing and how the Council will make best use of its homes.

If you are a Rotherham resident, making an application for social housing in Rotherham, or a social landlord, please complete this survey to tell us what you think about the proposed amendments to the Housing Allocation Policy.
