Plan for Neighbourhoods: Community Consultation

Your plan. Your voice.

Rotherham will receive £20 million over the next 10 years as part of the government’s Plan for Neighbourhoods. This funding will help shape the future of our communities.

We want to hear from people who live, work or visit the following areas:

  • Sitwell Ward – Whiston, Deepdale, Broom
  • Rotherham East Ward – Eastwood, East Dene, Clifton, Herringthorpe
  • Dalton and Thrybergh Ward – East Herringthorpe
  • Rotherham West Ward – Ferham, Holmes, Masbrough, Thornhill, Henley, Bradgate, Blackburn, Richmond Park, Kimberworth
  • Brinsworth Ward – Templeborough
  • Keppel Ward – Kimberworth Park, Scholes
  • Greasbrough Ward – Greasbrough, Wingfield
  • Rawmarsh East Ward – Aldwarke

How to take part

We’re using the Place Standard Tool to understand what’s working well in your area and where improvements are needed.

The Place Standard Tool is a specialist survey platform developed in Scotland to help communities assess the quality of their local area. It’s hosted on an external website and is widely used across the UK for place-based consultations.

You’ll be asked quick questions on up to 14 topics, including:

  • housing
  • transport
  • public spaces
  • social interaction
  • feeling safe

Your feedback will help guide future planning, investment and community development.

Complete the Place Standard Tool (external site)

Deadline: 12pm, Monday 11 August 2025
