Rotherham Council is currently examining the use of EV (electric vehicles) across the borough in an attempt to better understand the need for improved charging infrastructure within the local area.
The Council are especially keen to learn the scale and distribution of electric vehicles to gain a better understanding of the most suitable placement for future EV charging points within Rotherham. We would like to hear from members of the community, particularly those who already own an electric vehicle or plan to in the near future.
Responses to the following brief survey will assist Rotherham Metropolitan Council’s Planning, Regeneration and Transport Department in putting in place the facilities to improve the ease of access for EV owners whilst also contributing to The Council’s climate change mitigation goal of Rotherham reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
