Have your say on Homelessness Prevention and Ending Rough Sleeping Strategy 2022 Review

Welcome to the Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleepers Strategy 2022 Survey.

Rotherham Council are currently reviewing the Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleepers Strategy for 2023 to 2026. The strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve the aim of preventing homelessness and ending rough sleeping in Rotherham and ensuring people get the help and support they need.

Rough sleeping and begging are noticeable signs of homelessness. However, homelessness affects far more people than people who seen rough sleeping. There are individuals and families who do not have a settled home to call their own, and who are in living in temporary accommodation. Many people are feeling the effects of Covid-19 and the rising costs of living on their livelihoods, and may now be more at risk of losing their home.

We want to consult with people who live and work in the Rotherham about our strategy to deal with homelessness and rough sleeping, the actions we need to consider, and to help shape the plan. We have designed a set of questions to gather your views on the key issues.
