Although no longer common place in Rotherham, it is possible for people to obtain a licence that will allow them to operate an adult entertainment venue (such as a lap dancing club), an adult store or a cinema showing “x-rated” films.
Rotherham Council has a policy that is intended to ensure that premises and venues are that provide this activity / service are appropriately regulated. This policy is called the “Sex Establishment Policy”.
