This project is to re-establish the existing Rotherham BMX club and offer regular race practice sessions at the BMX track to progress participants on to participate in local novice races at the BMX track with a view to developing transferable skills to progress on to Regional or National competition.

We will measure the success of the project against our 3 year cycling development plan. All outcomes set within the plan are based on key objectives from Rotherham’s Public Mental Health & Well Being Strategy and aims to target the high increase in less healthy activity engagement in the borough, reducing obesity, poor mental health and wellbeing. The project will also meet Rotherham Public Health’s “5 Ways to Well Being” strategy increasing healthy activity and positive mental health.
