What is is?
Rotherham African Drums (RAD) provide an exciting, and supportive environment which gives people of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities the chance to meet new people, build confidence and learn something new.

What happens there?
Join in one of our four weekly drumming classes specifically for people with learning difficulties/disabilities.
Most sessions are run at ROAR Artspace in Rotherham town centre, but there is a beginners class at St. Simon & St. Jude Church in Thurcroft on Thursdays.

RAD have performed at many community events and larger festivals across the U.K.
Who is there?
Most drumming sessions are run by RAD’s teacher Paul. The group is volunteer led by Friends of RAD and have a solid group of loyal and regular attendees. The LDD group on Tuesdays is attended by some members of Life Act.

Opening hours
LDD drumming: 1.00 to 2.00 pm Tuesdays
Beginners: 6.00 to7.0 pm Tuesdays

Beginners (Thurcroft) Thursdays: 5.30 to 6.30 pm
