Speakup - My Front Door

What is is?
Speakup is run by and for people with learning disabilities and autism or both.

We speak up and out for ourselves and others and work in co-production all the time.
What happens there?
Take part in projects which will support you to speak up and learn new skills.

People who want to learn independence and active leadership and speak up on behalf of others to make services better are most welcome.

Our current projects include:

‘Prioritise me’ - training people to understand the energy market and stay out of fuel poverty.

Ask Listen Do.- highlighting good services, raising concerns, making a complaint.

Care and Treatment reviews - the Transforming Care Agenda.

Healthy lives, gym and healthy eating sessions.

A community hub together with Key Friday mornings.

Work experience and micro enterprise involvement together with John Lewis and Rotherham Council.

Working with Rotherham, Doncaster,
