My aim is to provide a safe, happy and homely environment were children are happy, relaxed and feel at home while in my care and parents also feel happy to leave their child while they are at work. I have a large safe, enclosed garden where children have outside play as well as indoor activities. I attend the local childminding network. The children will also be taken on visits to the Butterfly House and other places.I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate which is renewed every 3 years. I have also taken courses relevant to my work as a childminder including Practical Parenting, Child Protection and Health and Safety. I have also recently completed courses on Equal Opportunities, Food Hygiene, Risk Assessments, Managing Children's Behaviour, Common Assessment Framework and courses on the Early Years Foundation Stage ready for the change over in September 2008.
