Service description
I have been a qualified Ofsted registered childminder for approximately 26 years and thoroughly enjoy my job. I look forward every day to working with my minded children. The children will be taken on local outings and visits. I hold an up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate and I am currently working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Early Childhood Studies. I have studied and hold a certificate in "Makaton". I have also taken a course on practical parenting. I am a qualified rugby coach for under 7s and under 8''s at our local rugby club. I am involved with our local pre-school and hold the position of chair which I have held for 12 years. I attend the local childminding network. I have worked with disabled children. I will be able to provide care for children during the school holidays.I have recently attended a child protection course.

At my setting I am commited to include children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements.
I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
I have accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
