Service description
I have over 30 years of childcare experience, including being a Nanny and bringing up my own children. I have been a childminder now for 20 years, looking after children from birth to 11 years.I have attended many training courses, 0-5 speech and language development, child development, behaviour management, health and safety, birth to three matters, treasure baskets and heuristic play, social and emotional aspects of development, safeguarding children, food hygiene and regularly revised child protection and paediatric first aid. I also have NVQ Level 3 in childcare learning and development.
I offer a safe, friendly and secure home from home environment with many play and learning activities, indoor and outdoor. We also go on outings and adventure days to parks, country parks, museums, indoor play centres, walks and to the seaside. There is a large and fully enclosed garden for outdoor play with lots of play equipment. I also have an allotment bed for growing our own fruit and vegetables. There is a dedicated playroom with toys for all ages and stages of development and I actively promote good healthy eating and living through diet and activities.
I am open from 7.30-5 Monday to Thursday and offer term time only rates too. Please contact me for details.
