Service description
My setting will provide a home from home feel, while creating life long learners. This will include learning about the great outdoors, trips to Woodlands, Parks, Farms and Zoo''s. I also attend local Playgroups, Play areas and Libraries etc. I am a mother to three children, 2 daughters and a son, aged 16, 12 and 2. I live with my partner and have been together for 20 years. I have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant for some time, I have also worked in different roles in the care sector. I feel all my roles have made me a kind, approachable, compassionate and empathetic individual. I have an NVQ level 2 qualification in teaching and learning in schools. I have also completed relevant training courses; including paediatric first aid, child protection, food hygiene and basic Makaton.As a childminder I will adhere to the Early Years ethos, I will ensure all children are safe and well cared for whilst providing an education, both within my home and whilst on
outings.

I am committed to including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements. I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs. I have accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
