- Our Foundations unit is based in the grounds of Thurcroft Junior Academy. We provide government funded sessions and wrap around care to all 3 and 4 year old''s. At Thurcroft we are committed to providing high quality teaching experiences to support every child''s development, enabling them to reach their full potential. Our creative and bespoke curriculum reflects our children and community and provides children with the knowledge and skills they need at each stage of their Early Years development. At Foundations @ Thurcroft we believe all children should have access to a broad curriculum that gives children the opportunity to engage in new experiences.

Our nursery has a commitment to including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements.We work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
All staff within our nursery has accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
