- I am deeply interested in the Hygge Approach to Children in the early years and specifically the impacts of hyyge and the outdoors environment on the child. I hold The Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation Scheme and the approach is fully in evidence within my setting. We as a setting have a full love of the outdoors and spend as much time outdoors as we can, be that in the garden on site or at local parks or woodland. We try to instill a love of nature into our children from a very young age and actively encourage parents to do the same and can offer support on activities to do at home or as a family.

At my setting I am commited to include children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements.I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
I have accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
