Our family hub is part of the Rotherham Family Hubs network and provides families across Rotherham with the support and advice they need about raising a family, including a range of services to help parents from pregnancy through to their child’s early years and into their teenage years. We also support those with special education needs and disabilities up to the age of 25 years.
Our Family Hub co-ordinator, Abi, is a qualified and registered Social Worker and trained child advocate. We provide a wide range of tailored and flexible support based on the needs of our children, young people and families. Examples of the support our family hubs offers.
• Parenting support including sleep routines, building relationships, managing behaviour, budgeting & finance, etc
• Baby Rave (baby sensory group)
• Benefits & housing support
• Connecting families to our network of partners for specialist support
• Advocacy for young people and families
• EHCP application and ongoing support
• Form filling and support with phone calls
• Consulting parents/carers to expand the current offer
