Information for prospective candidates
The Notices of Election were published on Thursday 29 January 2026.
Information about the qualifications and disqualifications for being a candidate can be found on our standing for election to a Parish Council page.
Nominations can be submitted between 10am and 4pm on weekdays (excluding Bank Holidays) between Friday 30 January 2026, but no later than 4pm on Friday 6 February 2026.
Nominations must be submitted by hand directly to the (Deputy) Returning Officer at the Electoral Services Office, Bailey House, Rawmarsh Road, Rotherham S60 1TD.
Nomination papers can be downloaded and printed off from the Electoral Commission website.
