Parish by-elections: Thursday 19 June 2025

Three separate parish elections will take place on Thursday 19 June 2025.

Anston North Ward of Anston Parish Council

One seat in the Anston North Ward of Anston Parish Council is up for election.

If there are no candidates, the election will be re-run within 35 working days of the 19 June 2025.

If there is only one candidate, they will be elected unopposed.

If there is more than one candidate, the election will be contested, and a poll will take place on Thursday 19 June 2025.  Electors in the Anston North Ward of Anston Parish Council will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate.

Brampton Bierlow Parish Council

One seat on Brampton Bierlow Parish Council is up for election.

If there are no candidates, the election will be re-run within 35 working days of the 19 June 2025.

If there is only one candidate, they will be elected unopposed.

If there is more than one candidate, the election will be contested, and a poll will take place on Thursday 19 June 2025. Electors in Brampton Bierlow Parish Council will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate.

Maltby East ward of Maltby Town Council

One seat in the Maltby East ward of Maltby Town Council is up for election.

If there are no candidates, the election will be re-run within 35 working days of the 19 June 2025.

If there is only one candidate, they will be elected unopposed.

If there is more than one candidate, the election will be contested, and a poll will take place on Thursday 19 June 2025.  Electors in the Maltby East ward of Maltby Town Council will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate.
