Changes to postal votes
Under the Elections Act 2022, all postal voters must now reapply for their postal vote every 3 years. As part of the application, your identity must be verified.
If you applied for a postal vote between 31 January 2024 and 30 January 2025, you must reapply by 30 January 2027.
After that, you’ll need to reapply every 3 years.
