Energy Price Cap
- Understanding the cap: The energy price cap limits the amount energy suppliers can charge per unit of energy and the daily standing charge.
- Current price cap (April to June 2025): View the current price cap rates for electricity and gas in Yorkshire.
- Price cap updates: The price cap is reviewed quarterly by Ofgem. Find more information about the price cap on the Ofgem website.
Important Note: The energy price cap doesn't limit your total energy bill, only the unit rate and standing charge. Your total bill depends on your energy usage.
