6 March, World Book Day at Rawmarsh Library and Neighbourhood Hub

Animals and bugs reading on a sunny day

Books, Books, Books

Reading a book a day,
Can whisk you to a land far away.
You might meet wizards and dragons in far away lands,
Or mermaids, or pirates burying treasure in the sands.
You might learn about football, music or fun new cities,
You might learn about rockets or how to write ditties.
But who ever you meet or wherever you go
Reading a book is exciting don’t you know?

Come along and colour a picture, make a fairtytale bookmark and find the characters that have escaped from the books in our World Book Day trail.

Free session, suitable for ages 4 to 12 years.

No need to book.

Date: 6th March 2025.

Location: Rawmarsh Library and Neighbourhood Hub Barbers Avenue,
Rotherham,
S62 6AA
