Join Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Victory in Europe (VE) Day marked the end of World War II in Europe. Join us for a special commemoration event in the Archives searchroom, where we will honor those who served, both on the front lines and at home. We’ll also explore how Rotherham has celebrated VE Day through the years.
Original archival materials will be on display and available for handling. To help preserve these valuable documents, we kindly ask that no food or drinks be brought into the room. However, you’re welcome to visit the wonderful Walker Café before or after the event.
