Death Café

Grab a cup of tea and join us while we chat about all matters life and death.

Rotherham Central Library host an informal get together with no set agenda offering people a safe space to talk about their thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences about life and death.

Providing somewhere to go for those struggling to come to terms with what death means and helping to prevent isolation and loneliness.

Professionals are sometimes present from services such as funeral directors, hospice, hospital, and registrars to answer any questions, dispel myths, and help make talking about death less of a taboo subject.

Hosted by Tricia, a public speaker and author with a background in psychology and applied statistics.

It is open to everyone and is an opportunity for people to discuss views and concerns about death in an unthreatening space.
