Please join us for Holocaust Memorial Day on Tuesday 27 January 2026, as we come together to remember those who lost their lives in the Holocaust and in other genocides around the world.
This year’s event will take place at the Clifton Park Bandstand, starting at 12pm and lasting around half an hour. The national theme for 2026 is ‘Bridging Generations’, which highlights how each of us plays a part in passing on the lessons and stories shared by survivors so they continue to shape the way we challenge hatred today.
During the event, you’ll hear reflections from the Mayor of Rotherham, local faith leaders, and Council representatives. Pupils from local schools will also perform songs.
You’re welcome to attend, reflect, and stand with others in our community as we honour the past. Some seating will be available. As the event is outdoors, you may want to dress warmly.
