17 to 20 February: Bronze Arts Award at Rotherham Civic Theatre

Our Bronze Arts Award is a FREE fantastic opportunity to explore your artistic interests and gain a nationally recognised Level 1 qualification.

Ready to unleash your creativity?

Through fun, interactive sessions, you’ll experiment with different art forms, whether that’s visual arts, drama, crafts or creative writing whilst building new skills and confidence. Join us during February half-term and take the first step on your creative journey as you work towards achieving your award!

What’s in store:

  • All free creative activities
  • Meeting new people
  • Getting to explore your own individual interests
  • Learning new skills
  • A trip
  • All while achieving an accredited Level 1 qualification

Please note: This will be heavily visual arts based however no experience is required

Who is this for?: Young people aged 11-15 years old

When: 17 to 20 February 2026, from 10:00am until 3:00pm each day.

Where: The Annex at Rotherham Civic Theatre, Catherine Street, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S65 1EB.

Key information

This programme is completely free to take part in, and open to young people aged 11 to 15 years old. You must be able to attend all sessions in order to achieve the award.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at each session, excluding the day we attend a trip, packed lunches must be provided for your young person. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when registering your young person.

A guardian must complete a consent form at the start of the programme, and a guardian must be available to drop them off and sign them out of each session.

All staff members delivering the programme hold current Enhanced DBS checks. The Program has been fully risk assessed, and our risk assessment and safeguarding policies are available on request.
