Extra Half-Term Story Stop: Celebrate LGBT+ Month!

Join us at Mowbray Gardens Library and Neighbourhood Hub this February half-term for a special Story Stop celebrating LGBT+ History Month!
We’ll be reading the beautiful picture book Julian Is a Mermaid by Jessica Love – a story about self-expression, identity, and love. After the story, children can get creative by making their very own mermaid bookmarks to take home!

Free and family-friendly
Perfect for families and children but they must be supervised by an adult.
Come along, have fun, and learn more about this wonderful time of year!

Date: 21st February 2026.

Location: Mowbray Gardens Library and Neighbourhood Hub
