A special exhibition based on Parkgate 200 will be held within the monthly opening day of the South Yorkshire Transport Museum, Aldwarke Lane, starting at 10.30am and finishing at 4pm.
There will be plenty of old photos and maps to look at and plenty of information about what makes Parkgate such an important place, not just in local history, but in national and international history.
A couple of illustrated presentations will be given during the day by local historian and author, Tony Dodsworth, entitled 'Across Parkgate and Rawmarsh from South to North in 60 Pictures'.
Admission - £5 for adults, free for children under 16, pensioners and concessions £3.50m and members free.
Refreshments will be available at the venue.
