Advice and support on Vaccinations

There are a range of vaccines available to protect you and your family. If you're unsure, ask your GP or your practice nurse.

Vaccinations for children

  • Children should complete the routine childhood immunisations provided by your GP.

Vaccinations for adults

If you're over 65, or under 65 with a long-term condition, you should think about:

  • Pneumococcal
  • Flu
  • Shingles

If you're pregnant, you should think about:

  • Flu
  • Whooping cough (also known as pertussis)

Travel vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
