A Levels

These are classroom based study, like GCSE’s but harder, so you take fewer.
Only liking one or two of the subjects you choose will make it harder to complete the course.
You can take a blend of subjects and keep a wide range of career options open.
Minimum of 5xC+ at GCSE, including Maths & English, some subjects like maths, sciences and languages will require B’s at GCSE to allow entry to A Level.
Some have a work related element, such as ICT, Business or Product Design. Others are purely subject based, i.e. History, Maths, English.
If you are wanting to carry on your education to University you may need certain A Levels for the course you are planning to take e.g. you would need Biology for Physiotherapy. Your Youth Support Worker can help you with this
