What Are Study Programmes?

If you are aged 16 to 19 and currently unemployed and out of education you could consider a study programme tailored to your individual needs, education and employment goals.

You will be given the opportunity to develop a programme which is tailored to suit your individual needs. So, this could include:

  • Vocational programme - gain qualifications to show you have what it takes to train for a specific area of work
  • Work Experience - This will enable you to gain vital work and employability skills in an area of work you are interested in
  • Functional Skills - Maths and English will be part of every person's programme unless you achieved an A - C at GCSE. You could also study IT skills.
  • Work Skills - Gain employability skills such as CV writing, mock interviews and support with application forms.
